Tom Willey - Managing Partner

As an accomplished high-tech executive and entrepreneur, Tom Willey brings over 20 years of experience in marketing, sales and engineering in the RF semiconductor industry. Prior to founding TWP, Tom was President and CEO of Discera, where he is credited with developing and delivering the industry’s first fully production qualified MEMS based clock timing solution for the high volume consumer market. Tom has successfully led efforts in all aspects of the semiconductor industry including product strategy and vision, product development through customer design wins and order fulfillment. Tom has also held leadership positions with Innovics Wireless, Philips Semiconductor VLSI and National Semiconductors. Tom has a bachelor’s degree with honors (1st Class) in electronics engineering from Paisley University, Paisley, UK, and a master’s degree in electronics from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, UK.

 

Mark Konopacky

Mark Konopacky - General Partner

Mark Konopacky is an experienced Semiconductor Sales and Business Development Executive residing in the Silicon Valley area of California. His 25+ years of Sales, Applications, and Business Development experience spans both startup and large companies including domestic and foreign ownership and covering all major global markets.
Most recently, Mark was Vice President of Worldwide Sales for Powerprecise Solutions, Inc., where he was part of the Executive Team that guided Powerprecise to a successful acquisition by Texas Instruments during the fall of 2007. Previously, Mark was Vice President of Worldwide Sales for ChipX, Inc., an industry leader in Structured ASIC and Standard Cell solutions for consumer, communications, computing and industrial applications. Mark also held Executive Sales roles at eSilicon, Philips Semiconductors, VLSI Technology, and NEC Electronics. Mark started in sales at Motorola Semiconductor and had prior engineering positions at Rockwell, General Motors and Boeing. Mark received a BSEE from Northrop Institute of Technology and an MBA from the University of Oregon.
